What cookies are

Small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information about your visit.

Our own cookies

VisitMadrid does not set its own tracking or analytics cookies. The site works without first-party cookies.

Third-party cookies: Google AdSense

The site loads Google AdSense code so that it can show advertising. When ads are active, Google and its partners may use cookies (for example IDE, __gads, __gpi, NID) to serve ads, limit repetition, measure performance and, if you agree, personalise them. In the European Economic Area these cookies are only used according to your choice in the consent message shown on the site.

You can review Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com and learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Managing consent

You can change your choice from the “Privacy and cookies” link in the consent message when available, or delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking third-party cookies does not prevent you from using the site.
